My name is Madison Jade Li Zhi Robson, but I prefer to be
called Maddie.
Li Zhi is my Chinese name, which translated means "beautiful orchid."
I am 15 months old. I was
born on December 11th, 2004 in GuangDong Province, China. When I was 9 months old, my mom and dad came to China to adopt me
and bring me home to my forever family in Eaton, Colorado. Before I was adopted I lived in Yang Xi orphanage with
lots of other babies.
I love my new home in Colorado. I have my own room full of lots of
toys to play with and lots of books to read. I have a big family with lots of aunts and uncles and cousins and grandparents
that like to spoil me! I have a puppy dog named Lil Joe that I like to tease and play with and a goldfish named Mr. Fish Styx
that just swims around in his bowl all day.
I like to go shopping with my mommy and take rides in the car. I love to play on the
swings at the park by our house. I really love to take baths in my big duckie bathtub and splash around and play
with all of my bathtub toys. I like to brush my teeth and keep them pretty white. I like to read my books and I especially
like it when my mommy and daddy read to me before I go to bed at night.
I just learned how to walk, so now my mom and dad say I'm into
everything and they are always following me around to make sure I stay out of trouble - I guess! I'm learning some sign
language and a few words. I am teething, which really stinks! So far I have 7 teeth and at least 3 more ready to pop out.
Every day I love to wake up and give my favorite toys a kiss and then feed my fish
and dog and eat my cheerios and get dressed and ready for a new day of exploring and learning all I can.

belongs to my chinese doll from Aunt Heidi.
On my first birthday I was 29 inches tall and
weighed 15 pounds.
