| A Buddhist Blessing |
|
|
| In the shadow of 3 Buddhas |
While touring The Six Banyon Tree Temple in GuangZhou, Uncle Morgan was able to arrange for our girls to recieve a Buddhist
Blessing. The ceremony was performed in a large meditation area of the temple that featured 3 giant gold Buddha statues that
were about 25-30 feet tall.
This ceremony is rarely performed for anyone other than a Buddhist, but since our girls were daughters of China, they
welcomed the chance to perform a blessing ceremony to wish them well in their new homes with their forever
families.
The ceremony lasted about 15 minutes with a lot of chanting and incense.
